koi you need a filter food any type of koi food plenty sold in petshops.

koi-karp is a fresh water fish first of all you have to provide good quality water to them they are hardy fishes but they are also very prone to ammonia poisoning nitrifying bacteria should be added according to size and capacity of pond secondly they are omnivorous in nature therefore they will eat almost every thing that you will feed but there most favorite food is blood worms and shrimps etc.than you will have to give them a thick gravel bed and water plants should be planted there should be enough hiding places in pond .
water.fresh water…3ft deep is good…, pH 7.0 or anywhere near it
food.it eats veggies… almost any kind of fish food will do…. just don’t be too monotonous( one type of food for the rest of his life )
air. filters will do well.
