My experiment is now into its third week and slightly disappointingly there’s still no sign of any algae. Last weeks weather was very dull and grey though, not ideal for growing algae. water experiment….?
i wanna do an experiment where im comparing water and another liquid and showing how water is a better solvent, wat experiment should i do?
you will run into a problem here. Water is only a good solvent in some cases. your best bet would be to get water (polar) and something like hexane (non polar) and investigate the solubility of a range of chemicals including other liquids, see what is available at school and work from there.
